Seeing the Signs

Okay, so I needed to use the airplane lavatory. Yes, this story begins in a bathroom.

And then I saw this sign:

This seems like one of the most obvious things on the planet to anyone that actually completed their potty-training sticker chart at age two, but apparently, some people still need this sign.

Gross.

But I’m not writing this blog just for some “potty humor.”

Nope.

As I returned to my seat, I couldn’t help but think of the other obvious things in our lives that we SHOULD do, but don’t–even though we know better.

Do you need the “you need to exercise today” sign?
Do you need the “don’t procrastinate on your homework/project and your stress will be reduced later” sign?
Do you need the “treat others how you want to be treated (AT ALL TIMES)” sign?

We’ve known these things since we were kids. We know what we should, but often we don’t.

And I thought about what would happen if that took place in this airplane lavatory. Gross.

I don’t want my own life to be “crappy” and I don’t think you do either.

So let’s see the signs, and start DOING the right thing.
